How to Order
Collections
Hats in our Collections are handcrafted to standard sizes with the same materials and meticulous attention given to our custom pieces, and are kept in stock, ready to ship. These are also known as ready-to-wear hats.
Ordering a hat is as simple as any standard online purchase: browse our Collections at your own pace, select your preferred style and size, add it to your cart, and proceed to checkout. Prices are listed for each hat, and includes a sturdy and elegant Bolatti Hat Co. case, that serves both as a storage and carrying case. Shipping times and options are calculated automatically based on your destination, and payment can be made using any major credit card, PayPal, or Apple Pay.
If your size is unavailable, it simply means that particular size is currently out of stock in this Collection. We update our website and Instagram account frequently as new hats become available, so feel free to check back often. If you'd like the same style made for you, you can also place a custom order. This option would allow you to request your exact size, and customize the hat.
Hats in the Collections ship within 1–3 days of order confirmation. We ship all our hats via the national Spanish mail company Correos. For orders outside the European Union, please note that import duties, taxes, and any additional fees related to customs clearance are the responsibility of the recipient. Returns are accepted for items purchased from our Collections. For full details, please refer to Sections 7 and 8 of our Terms & Conditions. Custom Made
All our custom hats are made to order and crafted to your exact measurements. A typical custom order follows the steps below:
You decide on a specific style by browsing our portfolio on the Custom page, or by bringing your own idea.
You begin your custom order by adding a €200 deposit to the cart, filling out the custom order form when prompted (after clicking the Add Deposit button), and making payment for the deposit as if it were a regular product order. We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, or Apple Pay.
Once we receive the deposit, we review your order and coordinate an initial consultation session with you through one of the following methods:
Virtual consultation (FaceTime, Zoom, WhatsApp, or another convenient app);
In person, if you are in the Barcelona area;
By email, phone, or instant messaging (should you prefer this approach).
During the consultation, we will review your measurements (and guide you through them if you have not taken them yet), select the crown and brim designs and measurements, choose a felt colour, select the sweatband leather and style, determine the hat-band ribbon style and colour, and finalize the hat model along with any preferred trimmings or finishes (e.g., edge binding, double-ribbon bow). Felt, leather, and ribbon samples can be mailed if needed. Please refer to the Custom page for our current reference portfolio and available felt and leather colours.
After the consultation, the final price for the selected hat plus any additional features, its associated shipping charges, and any applicable taxes is confirmed.
Then, the crafting of your hat begins. We will keep you updated throughout the process via social media or your preferred communication channel.
Once your hat is completed, we will contact you to settle the remaining balance of your order.
After full payment has been received, your hat will be shipped to you. Tracking info will be provided as per our Shipping Terms and Conditions.
The crafting time ranges from several weeks to a few months, depending on the selected style, trimmings, and our current backlog. Updated completion times are listed on the Custom page.

All our custom hats include our stylish and sturdy storage case, precisely shaped to your hat’s size and form, ensuring proper protection during both transit and storage.
Prices for our custom hats are listed on the Custom page and on each model’s portfolio page. Payments for the remaining balance can be made via PayPal, direct bank transfer (for customers within the Single Euro Payments Area — SEPA), or cash. Please note that hats can only be shipped once full payment has been received.
For your reference, please consider the following standard shipping charges for all custom orders:
Spain (peninsula) and Andorra: Free (3-4 days)
Balearic Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, Las Palmas, Santa Cruz de Tenerife: €20 (4-10 days)
European Union, UK and Canada: €55 (8-12 days)
Japan: €95 (11-20 days)
Rest of the World: €125 (12-25 days)
These are maximum approximated costs. The final shipping costs for your custom order may be equal or below these shipping charges. We will confirm shipping times when contacting you about the remaining balance. For orders outside the European Union, please note that shipping charges do not include any additional import duties, storage costs, or customs clearance fees, which remain your responsibility.
Because each custom hat is handcrafted to your precise specifications, unfortunately we are unable to accept returns.
